In the field of infertility, the male is frequently the source of the inability of the couple to conceive. Skillful assessment of the infertile male, however, often requires utilizing an number of the most advanced and sophisticated diagnostic tests, for it is often necessary to examine the behavior of sperm in a variety of conditions to elucidate the most critical aspects of sperm structure and function.
