Dr. Betsy Cairo, PhD, HCLD (ABB), CSES (AASECT) | Board Certified Executive Director
Dr. Betsy Cairo has over 28 years experience in human reproduction. In 1997, Dr. Cairo became board certified in Human Reproduction from the American Association of Bioanalysis as a High Complexity Clinical Laboratory Director (HCLD). She became certified by the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (CSE) in 2009 and is also certified as a sexuality educator supervisor. Being the founder and director of CryoGam Colorado, LLC has given Dr. Cairo years of clinical experience in the field of reproductive health. Understanding and maintaining reproductive health has been a lifelong endeavor of hers.
Gerica LaVelle, MS | Laboratory Technician & Patient Care Coordinator-Supervisor
Gerica was born and raised here in Colorado, and earned her undergraduate degree from Metropolitan State University of Denver before accomplishing her Master’s Degree in Biomedical Science with a specialization in assisted reproductive technology from Colorado State University. Currently she is pursuing a PhD in Biomedical Science from CSU as well. She enjoys serving CryoGam’s diverse population of clients as a patient care coordinator and lab technician supervisor.
Allie Pybas, BA | Laboratory Technician & Patient Care Coordinator
Allie moved to Colorado in Fall 2019 after living in Minnesota her whole life. She graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry and has experience in patient care working as a CNA and volunteering in various health care settings. Her experience in health care has deepened her interest in public health and preventative medicine. She is excited to learn more about reproductive health while getting to serve patients throughout Colorado and beyond.
Dr. Tom Englert, M.D. | American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology - Medical Director
Dr. Englert has been Medical Director since 2003. Additionally, his private practice focuses on infertility. Having Dr. Englert on our team gives a well- rounded perspective for reproductive health.
