Dr. Betsy Cairo, PhD, HCLD (ABB), CSES (AASECT) | Board Certified Executive Director
Dr. Betsy Cairo has been working in human reproduction since 1986. In 1997, Dr. Cairo became board certified in Human Reproduction from the American Association of Bioanalysis as a High Complexity Clinical Laboratory Director (HCLD). She became certified by the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (CSE) in 2009 and is also certified as a sexuality educator supervisor. Being the founder and director of CryoGam Colorado, LLC has given Dr. Cairo years of clinical experience in the field of reproductive health. Understanding and maintaining reproductive health has been a lifelong endeavor of hers.
Dr. Gerica LaVelle, PhD| Laboratory Supervisor & Owner
Gerica was born and raised here in Colorado, and earned her undergraduate degree from Metropolitan State University of Denver before accomplishing her Master’s Degree in Biomedical Science with a specialization in assisted reproductive technology from Colorado State University. Most recently, she completed her PhD with CSU with plans to sit for HCLD board exams later this year. She enjoys serving CryoGam’s diverse population of clients as laboratory supervisor and owner.
Hollie Schuetz, BS| Patient Care Coordinator / Laboratory Technician
Hollie is a born and raised Colorado native, growing up here along the front range. She graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelors of Science in Equine Science and Animal Science. She first started her career at a bull stud facility before shifting to the field of human reproduction. Outside of work she loves to go horseback riding, hiking and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Tom Englert, M.D. | American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology - Medical Director
Dr. Englert has been Medical Director since 2003. Additionally, his private practice focuses on infertility. Having Dr. Englert on our team gives a well- rounded perspective for reproductive health.
